Janet has considerable experience preparing young singers for school and grade examinations festivals, auditions and for entry to universities, music and dama conservatoires. A typical lesson for a young singer would normally be 30 minutes long and the lessons content could include technique, musicianship,music theory and repertoire drawn from a variety of sources including classical, musical theatre, contemporary and folk.
Lessons are normally given in a series of ten based round the school terms. However, programmes of study are based on student needs and can be tailored to meet individual requirements. Students are normally twelve years or older but in exceptional circumstances younger students will be considered. Please contact Janet for further advice.

If you are a member of a choir or musical theatre group having individual lessons will increase your skill set and increase your opportunties to participate fully in your chosen activity.
